Patience

I prayed for patience on Tuesday of this week and when I got home Tuesday night I realized I had failed nearly every test God had given me without even realizing it. Patience is hard and not something that is naturally easy for me.

This week the Lord has been teaching me about patience. Patience requires time. It's a lot easier to be patient when my time is submitted to the Lord. I've learned that I need to be patient with people as well. No one is perfect including myself, and therefore at sometime a person will require me to be patient with them. Keep in mind God is very patient with us. (2 Peter 3:9-10)

Galatians 5:22 tells us that patience is a fruit of the Spirit. Meaning that the Spirit of God in my life will produce patience, it's not of my own doing.

Ephesians 4:2 says to live our life in patience and bearing with one another in love.

I hope others will be just as encouraged as I am, God desires us to be patient! When we ask Him to change us and depend upon Him, He will help make us into patient people.

I figured out how to BLOG!

I've got it!

:: Sheep ::
There is a reason the bible uses the analogy of christians as sheep and Jesus as the shepherd. In my life I find myself doing things that I know not to do and having to relearn lessons. Sheep need guidance and I need Jesus to by my guide.
